Top 5 Communication Apps on Android in Belarus: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the communication app landscape in Belarus showed dynamic trends among the top five applications on the Android platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps revealed varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Telegram saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $16.7K and reaching $32.5K by the end of June. Downloads initially declined but rebounded strongly, peaking at 21.1K in the final week. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 5.3M throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady growth in downloads, which rose from 11.4K to 16.5K weekly. Active users also increased, reaching nearly 2.4M by the end of Q2.

Rakuten Viber Messenger showed varied trends. Revenue slightly increased, ending at around $2.4K. Downloads saw a gradual rise, peaking at 8.4K, while active users slightly decreased, ending the quarter with approximately 4.2M.

Мой МТС (Беларусь) experienced an upward trend in downloads, reaching 8.3K towards the end of June. Active users also showed growth, peaking at about 1.3M.

Мой А1 had a significant spike in downloads in early June, with numbers reaching 12.8K. Active users increased to over 1.1M by early June but tapered off slightly by the end of the quarter.
